Frequently Asked Questions

Open the app and tap Start Day. This will automatically start the 30 minute reminder cycle. You'll receive a notification every 30 minutes during your active hours to encourage you to get up and walk around.
Check that notifications are enabled for Walking Reminders in Settings > Notifications > Walking Reminders. Make sure Allow Notifications is toggled on. Also verify that Do Not Distrub Focus mode isn't blocking the app. If you recently reinstalled the app, you may need to re-grant notification permissions.
Yes! Once you have achieved the rank of Master one of the perks is to change the reminder message. You can choose from a variety of fun messages to keep your walking reminders fresh and motivating.
Just tap Skip Walk to reset the timer and delay the next reminder by 30 minutes. If you want to pause reminders for a longer period, you can tap End Day to stop the cycle until you start it again. This is great for days when you're traveling or have an unusual schedule.
Walking Reminders is focused on helping you build a consistent habit by reminding you to walk. For detailed step counts and distance, it pairs well with the built-in Health app on your iPhone. You can use both together to stay on top of your activity goals.
