Your privacy is important. Walking Reminders is designed to work entirely on your device. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything stays with you.

Information We Collect

Walking Reminders does not directly collect personal data such as your name, email address, location, or health metrics. However, the app displays banner ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect certain usage data to serve relevant ads. This can include device identifiers, IP address, and general usage information.

Notifications

Walking Reminders uses local notifications to remind you to walk throughout the day. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device using iOS — no data leaves your device and no external server is involved.

You can enable or disable notifications at any time in Settings > Notifications > Walking Reminders.

On-Device Data Storage

App preferences and your progress — such as your current rank and reminder settings — are saved locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Third-Party Services

Walking Reminders uses Google AdMob to display banner ads. AdMob is a third-party advertising service provided by Google that may collect and use data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. Google's data practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

The app is also distributed through the Apple App Store, which is governed by Apple's own privacy practices.

Children's Privacy

Walking Reminders does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.

If this privacy policy is updated, the new version will be posted on this page with a revised date at the top. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
